Bass Rock and St. Abbs Head.

14 July 2022 by Pat Judge Leave a Comment

The Bass Rock is situated in the Firth of Forth and rises over 100 metres above sea level. It is home to the largest gannet colony in the world, earning it Sir David Attenborough’s claim to be one of the ‘wildlife wonders of the world’.

St. Abbs Head is a breathtaking coastal headland with dramatic cliffs, famed for its seabird colonies. It is located on the Berkshire coastline with beautiful walks giving splendid views along the coast. It is one of Scotlan’s National Nature Resrves.

The photos below are a selection taken while on a short trip to the North Berwick area in May 2022.
